In the home appliance assembly industry, take Gree air conditioner assembly plant as an example. The packaging for transporting air conditioner spare parts is mainly EPS foam.
After the parts are assembled into air-conditioners in the assembly factory, the EPS foam used for packaging the parts will be discarded, which brings great pressure to the factory warehouse management. In the appliance repair industry, a large amount of EPS foam packaging will also be generated. GREENMAX targets the needs of different customers, providing cold compactors or hot melting machines to help the industry solve the pain point of difficult processing of foam waste.

Whirlpool is a world-famous manufacturer of large household appliances. Varese, located in northern Italy, mainly produces kitchen appliances and generates a large amount of EPS packaging waste every month. These EPS wastes need to be transported by truck to a storage yard 100 kilometers away every day, and the freight is extremely high.
Therefore, Whirlpool decided to cooperate with GREENMAX to solve the EPS recycling problem. GREENMAX first had an in-depth understanding of the Whirlpool team's waste foam recycling needs, including foam production capacity, recovery rate and other indicators, and customized a waste foam recycling plan for them. In detail, we installed a GREENMAX A-C200 compactor at the Whirlpool facility, which can compress large pieces of EPS waste into foam blocks. After that, only one shipment per month is needed to clear away the accumulated foam blocks, greatly reducing freight expenses.

Whirlpool is satisfied with this foam recycling solution. The EPS waste on the production line is compressed, which not only saves storage space but also avoids safety risks.
